KBH Entertainment Founder Kevin Brent Harvey,
(hence the initials KBH) was born in Salinas, California and, at the age of six, moved with his family to Anchorage, Alaska until the age of 17. Through high school he pursued the arts (music, theater, speech, etc.) appearing in and producing numerous multi-disciplinary performances; acting in plays and playing instruments like trumpet, guitar and experimenting with many others. The first music event produced by Brent at the age of 15 was "The Second Annual People's Festival" (Anchorage, AK) featuring twelve bands, in twelve hours on two flatbed trucks and was subsequently featured on the front page of the Anchorage Daily News. After this, Brent knew what career he would pursue...

At age 17, Brent was hired by a local club to work lighting & sound. One of the touring bands passing through asked him to join their group. For two years he traveled with the band through Canada and the Western U.S as roadie and eventually, a full fledged member playing guitar, trumpet and singing. While playing a club in Redondo Beach, CA, the group decided to disband. The owner of the club chain offered Brent, at the height of the disco era, a job as DJ. The club chain that became his "home" for the next fifteen years was The Red Onion, one of the most profitable and infamous names in the 1980s club business. During his time with the company, Brent fulfilled multiple roles as DJ, entertainment manager, trainer, music programmer, talent buyer, video producer and Entertainment Director. In 1993, The Red Onion chain closed its' doors.

In 1994, Brent started his own business. KBH Entertainment began as a small, live event production endeavor, booking live acts and promoting special nights in local area clubs. In 1995, Brent was asked to co-produce the 6th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards at The Roxy Theater. After the overnight success of this event, he was asked to continue producing the LAMAs, which he did until the year 2000, leaving a string of success stories that he brought to the regional awards such as Save Ferris, Zebrahead and Alien Ant Farm.

Over the past decade, KBH has garnered a solid reputation in entertainment business. In addition to being listed as one of the top ten managers in Los Angeles by Music Connection Magazine, Brent was honored twice as "Manager of the Year" by the Los Angeles Music Awards in 1994 and 2003. Music artists, production companies, film festivals, charity events and other entertainment entities seek the services of KBH for dependable, quality results. Worldwide publicity campaigns, impressive productions, innovative talent placement, industry associations, a wide array of full-service personal management and artist development methodologies has placed KBH Entertainment at the pinnacle of today's entertainment industry.
